What’s the best time of year for Tuna fishing?
Tuna Fishing in Virginia depends on the type of Tuna we are targeting. Here’s what we’ve experienced: The Yellowfin Tuna bite can start in May, peak July, August & September then cool off a little in October, November & cold by December. Bluefin Tuna can be strong in June, July, August & November but weaken a little in September, October & December but still be good. Bigeye Tuna gets interesting in April, better in May & June, cools off slightly in July/August peak in September/October. November the bite cools off a little & December cools off a little more, similar to July/August. Book Now to secure your spot on Sea Teaser.
