Like many other species, around structure and anywhere there are other fish to feed on. Wrecks, reefs, gill nets and they are well up into the Chesapeake Bay as well is far into the Atlantic Ocean.

Average size for Shark
The average size of shark in our waters range from 50 – 250 pounds, although there are BIGGER and smaller ones out there.
Most of our shark trips are for catch and release. Sharks that are caught and released over 6 feet in length are eligible for Virginia release citation trophy.
